For sale is a new in packet Yeah Racing brand 48 pitch pinion (motor) gear set to suit a huge number of 1:10th scale electric cars.Check your manual for compatibality (not suitable for all Tamiya or HPI E10).Over the years Tamiya have used at least 6 different pitch gears, so it is impossible for one size gear to fit all their cars, trucks and buggies. Make sure these gears are the correct pitch for your vehicle.

The motor gear series including 2 major types of Pitch Pinion – the 48 Pitch Pinion and the 64 Pitch Pinion. The 48 Pitch Pinion available from 15 teeth to 38 teeth. The 64 Pitch Pinion available from 17 teeth to 52 teeth. The Yeah Racing Aluminum Motor Gear are made by 7075 high quality aluminum with titanium coated surface.

How to calculate Final Gear Ratio?

For example, if your car has the following setting:

Motor Gear: 25

Spur Gear: 84

Pulley: 19

Gear Differential: 38

Firstly, we need to calculate the ‘Motor Gear to Spur Gear Ratio’, divide 84 by 25 equal to 3.36. Then we need to calculate the ‘Pulley to Gear Differential Ratio’, divide 38 by 19 equal to 2. Finally, the ‘Final Gear Ratio’ is 3.36 x 2 = 6.72.

Motor Turn used based on Final Gear Ratio:

3.5T: 9.5-10

4.0T: 8.9-9.5

8.5T: 6.4-7.0
